Hancock is a town in Washington County, Maryland, United States. The population was 1,725 at the 2000 census. The Western Maryland community is notable for being located at the narrowest part of the state that is only wide at Hancock,Md.

Hancock Reflection

This photo is taken of Lake Michigan from the North Beach looking at downtown Chicago. The red lights are top of the Signature Lounge in the John Hancock building. The lights change depending on the mood of the population (i.e. for the breast cancer awareness, it turns pink; for winter holidays, it has two colors – green and red; etc.)
